The Playground
The playground at West Horsley Village Hall is situated in the grounds of WHVH and is right next door to the car park. It is well-equipped and maintained as well as being securely fenced and there is seating for parents and carers (inside the playground as well as immediately outside) as well as three benches. One of these benches is for young children. The playground equipment is meant for use by children under the age of 13 and we ask that children are supervised at all times by parents/carers.
There are many different pieces of equipment in the playground for children to play on and, as a result, the playground is well-used and much-loved. Over the past few years, an extensive programme of improvements has resulted in several items of equipment being upgraded and the safety surfacing under all of the items of equipment has been refurbished.
For safety reasons, the playground is locked at 6pm or dusk if earlier every day of the year (except Christmas Day) but is usually open by 9am every morning.
Since this is a facility which is open to all residents and members of the public, it is not possible to hire it exclusively for children's birthday parties being held at WHVH.
